Three Arizona Western Lady Matadors Women’s Soccer players are teaming up again this summer, playing for FC Tucson of the Women’s Premier Soccer League.
Arizona Western Lady Matadors Women’s Soccer sophomore Ashly Martinez has signed to continue her career at Florida International University after leading the Lady Matadors in goals in each of the last two seasons.
Sophomores Ashly Martinez and Rikako Hayami along with freshman Tindra Biedermann were named to 2023 NJCAA All-American teams for Women’s Soccer after helping the Lady Matadors to the program’s second every appearance in the NJCAA DI Women’s Soccer Championships.
For the second time in program history the No. 10 ranked Arizona Western Lady Matadors Women’s Soccer team (15-1-0) punched its ticket to the NJCAA DI Women’s Soccer Championship with a 2-0 win over No. 4 ranked Salt Lake (14-1-2) to win the West District title.
