    YUMA, Ariz. – Karen Melendrez piled up points last week for the No. 18 Arizona Western women’s soccer team. The Lady Mats went a perfect 3-0, and Melendrez’s three goals and three assists played a huge role in that stretch.

    YUMA, Ariz. – Early games throw off your rhythm and groove, but the Arizona Western women’s soccer team turned up the pressure late in the first half against Glendale. AWC led 4-0 at the break and won 8-1 in Yuma on Saturday afternoon.

    Heart-Stopping Comeback

    YUMA, Ariz. – Karen Melendrez and Christiana Boateng made magic on the soccer field for the Arizona Western women’s soccer team. Melendrez banged home a game-tying goal with 48 seconds left in regulation, and Boateng scored the game winner in OT to push 18th ranked AWC past Cochise 3-2.

    YUMA, Ariz. – The Arizona Western women’s soccer team keeps sticking around in the NJCAA polls. The Lady Mats moved down one spot to 18th after going 1-0-1 last week.

    YUMA, Ariz. – For the third straight match, the 17th ranked Arizona Western women’s soccer team went a full 110 minutes without a decision. The Lady Mats tied Scottsdale 1-1 as both teams scored in the final 15 minutes.
