Silva signs with West Virginia University Institute of Technology

YUMA, Ariz. - Arizona Western College Lady Matadors women's basketball player Faith Silva has signed her letter of intent to play at West Virginia University Institute of Technology next season.

Silva played in 78 career games with the Matadors, averaging 10.1 points per game over the span of three seasons at Arizona Western. The Alamogordo, N.M. native played in a pair of Region I title games, leading the Lady Matadors to the program's second national tournament appearance this past season. 

In 33 games this past season, Silva finished as the Lady Matadors' fourth-leading scorer, averaging 9.3 points per game. Silva scored a season-high 21 points in a win at Southern Nevada back on November 10. 

West Virginia University Institute of Technology is an NAIA institution located in Beckley, W.V., and competes in the Appalachian Athletic Conference.
