Lady Matadors season ends with loss in Region 1 Semi-Finals

COOLIDGE, Ariz. - Arizona Western's quest for a return to the national tournament ended with four set loss to Central Arizona on Monday night. The team split the first two sets before Central Arizona put Arizona Western away by taking the next two sets. (25-17, 20-25, 25-20, 25-18). The Lady Matadors were led by sophomore Larrynn Alexis Joseph Rodrigues who finished with 17 kills and a .317 kill percentage on 41 attempts. She also added 13 digs for the Lady Matadors. Freshman libero Nanami Nobuhara led the Lady Matadors with 18 digs. Arizona Western ends the season with a record of 13-9.
