Ibarra joins Arizona Western Women’s Soccer coaching staff for the 2024-25 season after serving as the head coach of Real Salt Lake – AZ Yuma for the past four years.

The Yuma native spent eight years as the head coach of the YYSA Yuma Gambetas, also serving as coordinator and recruiter. Ibarra was head coach of the girls’ soccer varsity team at his alma mater, Cibola High School from 2011-2013.

As a player, Ibarra starred at Cibola High School before moving on to play at Yavapai College and eventually Grand Canyon University. Ibarra played five seasons with the Arizona Sahuraos of the Premier Development League.

Outside of Soccer, Ibarra has worked as a University Admission Counselor for Grand Canyon University, serving the southwest region of Arizona as well as a Youth Sports and Outdoor Recreation Instructor for the City of Yuma.

Ibarra earned a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Fitness and Wellness from Grand Canyon University as well as a Master of Business Administration from GCU.
