Lady Matadors earn high honors with women's soccer All-Region 1 awards
The NJCAA DI women's soccer All-Region 1 awards and teams were recently announced following Friday's regular season finale.
Player of the Year:
Linka Ono – Arizona Western College
Goalkeeper of the Year:
Iyan Hernandez - Arizona Western College
Coach of the Year:
Victor Verdugo - Arizona Western College
All-Region 1 teams include five Lady Matadors on the first team and two Lady Matadors receiving second team honors.
