CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The week 6 NJCAA DI soccer polls finds the Arizona Western Women's Soccer team at #2 in the country and the men's soccer team climbing one spot from #8 to #7 in the rankings. The Lady Matadors have held the #2 spot all season long. Over the weekend the Lady Matadors defeated Yavapai 1-0 to improve to 8-0 on the season. Arizona Western next travels to #11 Eastern Arizona this Tuesday for a 4:30 p.m. match. The men are coming off a 3-2 win over Yavapai over the weekend to improve to 9-1 on the season. The Matadors will also travel to Eastern Arizona this Tuesday. Match time is set for 7:00 p.m. at John Mickelson Stadium.
