YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western College Matadors Women's Soccer goalkeeper Iyan Hernandez was named the ACCAC DI Women's Soccer goalkeeper of the Week for the week of September 29-October 5 after shutting out Yavapai in the Matadors' 4-0 win.

Saturday's shutout was the fifth fourth shutout in six starts this season for Hernandez who owns a .931 save percentage this season.

Hernandez stopped four shots to help the Matadors to a 4-0 win over the Roughriders, the Matadors' ninth in a row.

This week's honor was the third award for Hernandez this season and the sixth time a Matadors Women's Soccer player was named ACCAC Player of the Week.
