Two-time All-American Ndiba signs with Cincinnati Bearcats
YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Lady Matadors Women's Basketball sophomore Alliance Ndiba has signed to continue her career at the University of Cincinnati after appearing in 57 career games for the Lady Matadors.
Ndiba scored 800 career points and grabbed 671 rebounds while blocking 125 shots in her 57 games in a Lady Matadors' uniform. The forward was a two-time NJCAA DI Women's Basketball All-American selection.
As a sophomore in 2023-24, Ndiba averaged 14 points per game, hauled in 11.8 rebounds per contest, and was named an honorable mention NJCAA DI Women's Basketball All-American and a first-team All-ACCAC and All-Region performer.
Ndiba led the ACCAC in rebounds per game with 12.2 and total rebounds with 362 and was second in the league in blocks with 52.
As a freshman in 2021-22, Ndiba played in 21 games, making 19 starts, averaging 16.0 points per game and 11.9 rebounds per game en route to ACCAC Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year honors as well as being named an NJCAA DI Women's Basketball First-Team All-American.
The University of Cincinnati competes in the Big 12 and are coming off a 14-18 season, earning a postseason birth in the WNIT under the direction of first-year head coach Katrina Merriweather.
