YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Lady Matadors Women's Basketball sophomore Alliance Ndiba earned ACCAC DI Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors for the week of January 21-27 after averaging a double-double in a sweep of Central Arizona.

Ndiba scored 40 points and grabbed 33 rebounds in two Lady Matadors' wins last weekend. The sophomore forward started the week by scoring 16 points and hauling in 16 rebounds as the Lady Matadors held off the Central Arizona Vaqueras 56-55 on Friday.

For the third consecutive game, Ndiba recorded a double-double on Saturday, scoring 24 points and grabbing 17 rebounds in the 53-36 win over the Vaqueras to finish the week.
