YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Lady Matadors Women's Basketball sophomore Alliance Ndiba was named ACCAC DI Women's Basketball Player of the Week after recording a pair of double-doubles in two Lady Matadors' wins last week.

Ndiba guided the Lady Matadors to two wins over Cochise to extend Arizona Western's winning streak to eight games.

The sophomore scored 10 points and hauled in 11 rebounds in a 71-62 win over Cochise on Wednesday and then scored a season-high 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in a 53-43 win the next night.

Ndiba becomes the second Lady Matador to earn ACCAC DI Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors after Rita Gomes earned the award back in November.
