YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Lady Matadors Women's Basketball leading scorer Kristol Ayson was named First Team All-ACCAC after finishing the regular season with the fourth-best scoring average in the conference, averaging 15.3 points per game.

Ayson scored 444 points in 29 games played, the third most points scored in the ACCAC, and totaled 71 steals, the second most steals in the conference.

The sophomore from Tacoma, Wash., scored in double-figures in all but one game this season and recorded four or more steals in a game four times.

Ayson scored a career-high 24 points against South Mountain on December 10 and set a career-high with five steals in the win.

The guard tallied a career-high seven assists in a win over Central Arizona on February 8 and grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds on three occasions.
