Bio

Lauryn DeGuzman brings a passion for developing athletes both on and off the field to her role as an Assistant Softball Coach at Arizona Western College.

As a former collegiate softball player, Lauryn was a slapper and utility player, primarily competing in outfield and middle infield. She played at California State University, Fullerton (2021-2022), and earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Bachelor of Science in Corporate Fitness and Wellness Management at Minot State University (2019-2021, 2022-2024). Lauryn ranks in Minot State’s individual season Top 10 records in batting average, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, and stolen bases. She recently completed her softball career at Bluefield State University (2024-2025), where she earned a Master of Business Administration. 


In addition to her softball experience, Lauryn is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer and specializes in strength and conditioning for athletes. She is passionate about helping players enhance performance, prevent injuries, and develop the physical and mental skills necessary to succeed on the field.
