Matadors win streak reaches double digits with home win over Southern Nevada

YUMA, Ariz. - The #6 Arizona Western men's soccer team extended their regular season win streak to 10 games, with a 4-0 win over Southern Nevada on Saturday night. Abdou Moursali broke a scoreless tie at the 37th minute mark with his sixth goal of the season. The Matadors led 1-0 at the half then added three second half goals from Roussel Laity (2) in the 48th minute, Noah Naus (4) in the 72nd minute and Steven LeBlanc (2) in the 86th minute on a penalty kick. The win improves Arizona Western to 11-1 on the season and 6-0 in conference play. Arizona Western next heads to #16 Mohave College on Tuesday before hosting the Big Horns in the regular season and game finale on Friday, October 24th. Both teams are undefeated in ACCAC play and next week's contests will decide who wins the regular season title. Both games are scheduled for 7:00 p.m. October 24th is also sophomore night at Matador Field.
