YUMA, Ariz. - After a stellar week, Arizona Western men's basketball player Marsai Mason is nationally recognized as the NJCAA DI "Player of the Week" for week 11. The "dominator" poured in a career high 38 points and 19 rebounds in a 108-98 road win over Central Arizona on January 28th. The sophomore followed up with a 23-point, 10 rebound game at home on January 31st versus Cochise College. On the season, Mason leads the Matadors with 16.5 PPG and 9.4 RPG. Mason has won ACCAC player of the week honors three times this season to go along with his first NJCAA honor.
