YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Matadors Men's Basketball sophomore Yaxel Lendeborg was named First Team All-ACCAC and sophomore Marquis Hargrove was selected Second-Team All-ACCAC.

Lendeborg led the Matadors in scoring, averaging 16.1 points per game, and leading the nation in rebounding, averaging 12.9 rebounds per contest.

The forward from Pennsauken, N.J., set a career-high with 28 points against Cochise on January 25 and tied that mark while breaking the program record for rebounds in a game with 31 in the next game against Scottsdale on January 28.

Lendeborg finished the regular season third in the ACCAC in blocks with 46 and 12^th in steals with 47 while grabbing a league-leading 229 defensive rebounds earning him the ACCAC Defensive Player of the Year award.

Hargrove is currently the Matadors' second-leading scorer, averaging a career-high 14.2 points per game and leading the Matadors in steals with 60, second most in the ACCAC.

The guard from Sacramento, Calif., scored 426 points, the 15^th most in the conference, and scored in double-figures in all but five games this season. Hargrove scored a career-high 27 points in back-to-back games, doing so against Central Arizona on February 8 and Chandler-Gilbert on February 11, earning NJCAA DI Men's Basketball National Player of the Week honors.
