YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Matadors Men's Basketball sophomore Yaxel Lendeborg was named the ACCAC DI Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of February 13-19.

The sophomore from Pennsauken, N.J., averaged 19.5 points per game and 11.5 rebounds per contest in a pair of Matadors' wins.

Lendeborg scored 25 points in an 82-75 win over Pima on February 15, shooting 10-13 from the field and grabbing 13 rebounds.

Lendeborg recorded another double-double in the second game of the week, scoring 14 points and hauling in 10 rebounds in a 70-61 win over Eastern Arizona.
