Niebla signs to play at Nyack College

YUMA, Ariz. - Arizona Western College Lady Matadors' softball player Lynette Niebla has signed to continue her academic and softball career at Nyack College next season. 

Niebla played in 68 career games for the Lady Matadors over two seasons, putting together a .268 career batting average with six doubles, a triple, and 18 runs batted in.

Robles to play at Park University Gilbert

YUMA, Ariz. - Arizona Western College Matadors' softball player Christina Robles has signed to play at Park University Gilbert next year. 

Robles played in 50 games for the Lady Matadors this spring, batting .458 and led the team with 17 doubles and six triples, driving in 30 runs. The Yuma, Ariz. native led the team in stolen bases with 14 in 17 attempts.

Angela Oros signs with University of Bridgeport

YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western College Lady Matadors’ softball player and Yuma, Ariz. native Angela Oros has signed to continue her softball career at the University of Bridgeport next year.

Oros appeared in 101 career games for the Matadors, finishing her time in the cardinal and gold batting a career-best .458 in her sophomore season in 2022, leading the team in home runs with 17 and batting in 57.

Robles and Oros names All-ACCAC

YUMA, Ariz. - Arizona Western College Lady Matadors' softball players Angela Oros and Christina Robles were both named third-team All-ACCAC.

Robles played in 50 games for the Lady Matadors this spring, batting .458 and led the team with 17 doubles and six triples, driving in 30 runs. The Yuma, Ariz. native led the team in stolen bases with 14 in 17 attempts.
