YUMA, Ariz---While the #12 Arizona Western Matadors (7-0-0 overall) continue to climb up the NJCAA rankings, they continue to showcase one of the deepest rosters in the country, putting it on full display with a 7-0 win over the Scottsdale Fighting Artichokes (2-2-0 overall) Tuesday night at the Matador Soccer Field.

Michele Signorelli netted a hat trick, his second of the year, to give him a conference leading 10 goals, while adding an assist as he scored three of the Mats first five goals.

Signorelli struck for the first two on beautiful crosses from Michael Appiah, his third and fourth assists of the year.

The Matadors were in a helping mood all evening as Ridwane Boukraa delivered his conference leading seventh assist less than a minute after scoring on Signorelli's assist.

The rest of the match was about the Matadors defenders, as Federico Caronte, Burak Cuban and Amarah Sidibe all added goals while Gabriele Atzei added an assist.

Atsuki Sato hung in net for all 90 minutes, needing just two saves for the clean sheet.

Arizona Western will look to continue their climb as they open conference play on Tuesday, September 21st against GateWay on the Matador Soccer Field in Yuma.
