    YUMA, Ariz. – Year in and year out, the Arizona Western College men’s soccer team succeeds both on the field and in the classroom. Marlon Atondo and Cesar Moreno both were named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America Second Team.

    Playoff Win

    YUMA, Ariz. – The Arizona Western College men’s soccer team controlled the ball and match on Tuesday night. The 15th ranked Matadors finished off Mesa 5-0 in the first round of the Region I Playoffs.

    YUMA, Ariz. – The bedrock of a strong soccer team can be built on a tight defense and excellent goalkeeping. With Dusan Djordjev in goal and Marlon Atondo in the back four, the Arizona Western College men’s soccer team (14-2-3 overall) had both traits.

    YUMA, Ariz. – Sometimes, you have to get back up after getting knocked down. After a pair of losses last week, the Arizona Western College men’s soccer team dropped to 15th in the latest NJCAA poll.

    First Loss

    YUMA, Ariz. – A first half goal put the Arizona Western College men’s soccer team up, but they couldn’t make it stick against Yavapai College. The sixth-ranked Matadors fell 2-1 in a matchup of the top two teams in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference.
